Just Start Coaching
When a coach comes into a coaching situation with a plan or outcome in mind, the coaching process is already off track. Just start coaching.
Admitting You’re Wrong

CoachNet is down…Emergency Plan. September 2, 2011 at 11am Eastern Time.
Here’s an update on the CoachNet website: During some routine server maintenance to a server this morning, it froze up, requiring a re-boot. This happens occasionally, similar to a normal computer needing to be re-started. Typically a 90-second reboot and the server is back up and running. However, the server failed to restart. It completely froze up, and the hardware failed, which has created a much longer delay.
Here’s what’s in the works:
- Rackspace, our host, has secured a new server, and they are in the process of moving hard drives from one server to another.
- The moment the hard drives are setup, there is probably an additional hour of work to complete the server migration process.
This is a major outage created by hardware failure. As a result, it’s much more time-consuming to get back online. In spite of working closely with Rackspace to fix it as quickly as possible, we fear it could be afternoon before CoachNet is back online.
Just so you know, your data is unaffected. CoachNet is backed up daily, and there are redundancies built-in to ensure safe data. But getting the hardware replaced is time-consuming.
Please know that we take these outages very seriously. We’re doing everything we can to get things back online — while ensuring it’s done right to prevent any further delays.
We will keep the CoachNet Facebook page updated with all the latest information. If you’re not a Facebook member, you can monitor this blog.
Thanks for your patience.
