By itself, coaching is an inexact science. Many coaches pride themselves on their instinctual ability to assess (and provide) what clients need. Some very good coaches claim to know what the client needs…sometimes even before the client does!
I am NOT one of those coaches.
My coaching includes the option to use two specific assessment tools, the Harrison Assessment, and the M_CODE. Both carry specific insight that illuminates our work together.
Assessments provide a data-specific lens that can confirm what is going on in your life. Used properly, these tools give us actionable insight into what you do and what motivates you. Both target changeable areas that coaching addresses, assuming we have the right kind of relationship and you have come to work!
The Harrison Assessment is the premier behavioral assessment in the world today. By investing 20-30 minutes to complete the Harrison’s Smart Questionnaire, we’ll get a snapshot of your behavioral tendencies. Like Dr. Phil says, “The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. The Harrison gives us a detailed picture of what you like to do, and what you enjoy! Learn more here.
The M_CODE (or Motivational Code) uses a unique narrative approach to discover what drives you. Effective leaders understand their why, and can clearly describe what gets them up in the morning. Based on the System for Identifying Motivated Abilities, completing the M_CODE gives you a print out of your top three motivational cores. In our coaching, we tailor what we work on and the actions you take based on what matters the most to you! Explore the M_CODE at this link.
In our coaching, we’ll explore what you do and why you do it, then use these powerful assessment tools for data-based confirmation of your patterns! The eye in the sky does not lie, and this is the fast track to effective coaching!
